Manfred Küchle

Manfred Küchle (born May 2, 1944 in Immenstadt im Allgäu ) is a freelance painter and graphic artist .

Life

Manfred Küchle was born in Immenstadt in the Allgäu in 1944 . He completed an apprenticeship in graphic design with Franz Weiss in Kempten (Allgäu) and then an internship in photography with Hermann Arnold in Füssen . He also attended the Werkkunstschule in Augsburg . Küchle has been working as a freelance painter and graphic artist since 1975 . He is married to the painter, graphic artist and sculptor Gertraud Küchle-Braun (* 1943 in Prien am Chiemsee) and lives in Dietmannsried .

Work areas

Küchle's art covers a wide spectrum. He is active in painting and graphics, wall painting, facade and urban design, as well as an illustrator and caricaturist . From 1980 to 2015 he was a color and design consultant for the city of Leutkirch . For the Allgäuer Zeitung he has been drawing the character D´r Balthes since 1992 , which appears at irregular intervals in the national and regional editions.
