Manfred Krendl

Manfred Krendl (born December 10, 1933 in Schwarzenberg am Böhmerwald , Upper Austria ; † August 28, 2000 in Linz , Upper Austria) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Manfred Krendl attended elementary and secondary school , one year of business school and finally a commercial vocational school . The trained office clerk then worked for various companies until 1961, most recently in his parents' company.

In 1961 Krendl found work as an employee of the Upper Austrian Seniors' Union , a sub-organization of the ÖVP. In 1977 he became state secretary, from 1992 to 1996 he was state chairman.

In October 1985 Krendl was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . He was a member of the provincial chamber of Austria until October 1989. From 1989 to 1991 he was a member of the ÖVP in the Upper Austrian state parliament .
