Manfred Preuss

Manfred Preuss (born October 30, 1951 in Munich ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Preuss graduated from high school in 1971 and studied law at the Free University of Berlin , but did not graduate. In 1976 he founded a GmbH for "consulting, planning and administration of facilities for the elderly and the sick".

1973 Preuss joined the CDU. In the Berlin election in 1979 he moved up in the Berlin House of Representatives , as Wolfgang Hackel was elected as a district councilor in the Neukölln district. In the 1990 election , Preuss was able to win the direct mandate for the constituency of Neukölln 6 . In May 1994, however, he resigned from parliament, his successor was then Alexander Kaczmarek .

After his career as a politician, Preuss founded the company Kleeblatt Finanz und Beteiligungs-Holding GmbH , which had specialized in the construction, equipment and operation of social buildings (especially old people's homes and nursing homes as well as some clinics) and in the trade in building materials. However, this company went bankrupt.

In South Africa , after his political career and running various companies, Mr. Preuss began a new creative period as a painter. From around 2000 he exhibited his abstract paintings (acrylic on jute, wax pencil on paper, mixed media on canvas) in Berlin. The artist withdrew completely from politics and moved his residence to Switzerland .

Today Preuss works in an advisory capacity and has various clients with his Swiss company Global Concept Consult, which he has been running for over 15 years.
