Manfred Ritzek

Manfred Ritzek (born April 20, 1940 in Pillkoppen / East Prussia ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Bielefeld in 1960 , Ritzek first did his military service as a temporary soldier in the German Armed Forces , where he trained as a reserve officer . He then completed a degree in economics from 1962 at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , which he completed in 1967 with a degree in economics. After that, Ritzek worked for a production and testing company as well as a trading and testing company. After he was Marketing Director at an East German oil company from 1990 to 1992, he went into business as a business consultant in 1992 .

Manfred Ritzek is married and has two children.

Political party

Ritzek has been a member of the CDU since the late 1960s and has been a member of the board of the CDU district association Segeberg since 2004 , initially as treasurer and later as deputy chairman.

MP

From 2000 to 2009 Ritzek was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . Since 2005 he has been a member of the board of the CDU parliamentary group. Ritzek was chairman of the European parliamentary group and spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the energy sector.

Manfred Ritzek entered the state parliament in 2000 via the state list and in 2005 as a directly elected member of the Norderstedt constituency . In the state elections in 2005, he received 42.5% of the first votes .
