Manfred Uedelhoven

Manfred Uedelhoven (* 6. April 1948 in Cologne ) is a German politician of the CDU . He was mayor of Troisdorf from 1999 to 2009 ; his successor is Klaus-Werner Jablonski .

Career

In 1970 Uedelhoven began studying law at the University of Cologne . In 1975 he laid the first legal state examination, 1979 second state exam and was subsequently Regierungsrat in Cologne. Widowed since 1986, Uedelhoven was appointed social affairs officer in Troisdorf in 1987, where he was also elected first full-time mayor in 1999 .

criticism

In 2003, Uedelhoven traveled to Norway at the invitation and expense of Eon Ruhrgas , and a public prosecutor's case was discontinued in return for a fine. Another criminal complaint because of the depiction of swastikas at an exhibition was discontinued due to the educational background.
