Manfred Wimmer (politician)
Manfred Wimmer (born March 8, 1937 in Eggenfelden ; † January 5, 1993 in Munich ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and from 1974 to 1976 and from 1980 to 1983 a member of the German Bundestag .
Wimmer was an administrative officer by profession. He joined the SPD in 1958 and was the last chairman of the SPD district association in the Eggenfelden district until 1972 , after which he took over the same office in the newly created Rottal-Inn district from 1972 to 1977.
On September 18, 1974, Manfred Wimmer replaced Georg Kahn-Ackermann , who had left the German Bundestag . His mandate expired in 1976. In the 1980 election , Wimmer was re-elected via the Bavarian state list.
In his honor, the SPD district association Rottal-Inn organized the Manfred Wimmer memorial cones , which took place fourteen times up to 2012.
