Manfred Wolff-Plottegg

Manfred Wolff-Plottegg (born July 16, 1946 in Schöder , Styria , Austria ) is an Austrian architect and designer .

biography

Manfred Wolff-Plottegg studied architecture at the Technical University in Graz, at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and urban development with Jacob Bakema in Salzburg, graduated in 1974 and followed up with post-graduate management training at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He has been working as a freelance architect in Graz since 1983 and in Vienna since 2002.

Teaching

From 1983 Plottegg taught at several universities, among other things he was a lecturer for planning methods and for the basics of EDP at the Technical University in Graz, for computer concepts at the University of Design in Linz, for experimental architecture at the University of Innsbruck. In 1994/95 he was professor for CAAD at the Technical University of Munich, in 2001 he was appointed full professor and professor for building theory and design at the Technical University of Vienna and was chairman of the Institute for Architecture and Design. Since 2014 he has been Professor of Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
