The Manning Massif is a large and 1023 m high massif in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the eastern part of the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains , it rises between the Loewe and McLeod massifs .
Surveys and aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) were used for its mapping. Scientists in this research series visited the massif for the first time in 1969. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after John Manning (* 1937), who led ANARE teams to survey the Prince Charles Mountains in 1969, 1970 and 1972.
