Manon Bernard (born January 23, 1995 in Montfermeil ) is a French volleyball player . Libera has been part of the national team since 2018. She played for the Bundesliga team Ladies in Black Aachen in 2019/20 and then switched to Municipal Olympique Mougins volleyball .

Career

Bernard started volleyball in school at the age of ten, playing for Gagny - Raincy . Later she went to the Pôle Espoirs de Châtenay-Malabry . She then moved to the then second division club Vandœuvre Nancy Volley-Ball. With the club, Libera made it to the top French league in 2015. In 2018 she was appointed to the French national team for the first time . In 2019 she moved to the German Bundesliga team Ladies in Black Aachen.In the 2019/20 season, she made it to the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup and the European Challenge Cup with Aachen . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the Ladies in Black were in seventh place in the table. In the 2020/21 season, Bernard will play volleyball for Municipal Olympique Mougins .

Bernard holds a Master of Education with honors from the Université de Lorraine . In 2019 she was honored with the Prix Sportif Lorrain of the Académie Stanislas for her sporting and academic career.
