Manouchehr Marzban

Manouchehr Marzban (* 1911 ; † 2004 ) was a Persian ambassador .

Life

Manouchehr Marzban studied at the University of Friborg in Switzerland and at the University of Lausanne Social Sciences and entered the Foreign Service in 1936. He was a consul at the Consulate General in New York City . As the embassy secretary in Rome he was chargé d' affaires as well as envoy in Tokyo .

From 1968 to 1969 he was first ambassador to Bangkok , Thailand and from 1972 to 1974 in Baghdad , Iraq . He was then from 1974 to May 1979 Persian Ambassador in Stockholm , Sweden .
