Mansa ( Panjabi ਮਾਨਸਾ ) is a city ( Municipal Council ) in the northwest Indian state of Punjab .
In the 2011 census, the population was 82,956.
Mansa is located in the lowlands at an altitude of 221 m 110 km south-southwest of the city of Ludhiana . It is the administrative seat of the district of the same name .
