Mansalay is a Filipino municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro , in the administrative region IV-B, Mimaropa. It has 54,533 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 17 barangays . It is classified as a second income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
The topography of the municipality is characterized by mountainous terrain. Parts of Mount Iglit Baco National Park are in the municipality's territory. Its neighboring communities are Sablayan and Calintaan ( Occidental Mindoro Province ) in the west, Roxas and Bongabong in the north, and Bulalacao in the south. To the east is Tablas Street .
