Manteo Mitchell
Manteo Mitchell (born July 6, 1987 ) is an American sprinter .
With the US team he won gold in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Istanbul .
Manteo Mitchell is an assistant coach at his alma mater, Western Carolina University .
At the 2012 Olympic Games , he continued to run in the semifinals of the 4-by-400-meter relay despite a broken fibula and helped his relay reach the final. There she finished second behind the surprise winner Bahamas.
