Manuela Runge (born Manuela Grabs in Dresden on February 9, 1959 ) is a German writer , editor and ghostwriter. She lives in Berlin .

Life

After attending the special school for Russian in Dresden, Manuela Runge studied German philology from 1977 to 1982 at the Humboldt University in Berlin , where she also participated in the AST student theater group. After completing her studies, she worked as a lecturer in the Aufbau-Verlag and was responsible for the field of literary and non-fiction. She left the GDR shortly before reunification and moved to Mannheim . In Weinheim she continued her work as a lecturer for non-fiction books, especially for biographies, at Quadriga Verlag , which belongs to the Beltz publishing group , and at Athenaeum, and has since performed biographical poetry readings. a. to Daniil Charms , Anna Achmatowa , Rose Ausländer , Franz Fühmann , Bertolt Brecht and Else Lasker-Schüler . In 2000 she started her own business as a freelance writer, editor and ghostwriter. Since 2003 she has been living in Berlin again.
