María Belén Carro Márquez de Acuña (born March 25, 1999 in Madrid ) is a Spanish beach volleyball player .

Career

Carro has played in national tournaments since 2015, mainly alongside Tania Moreno Matveeva , with whom she also competed in international junior championships. With Daniela Álvarez Mendoza , Carro finished third at the U22 European Championships in 2018 and 2019 and also won the bronze medal at the U21 World Championships in 2019.

Paula Soria Gutiérrez Carros has been a partner since 2018 , with whom she became university runner- up in Munich and came in second at the FIVB 1-star tournaments in Manila and Bangkok . At the European Championships in Moscow in 2019, Carro / Soria were eliminated after the preliminary round. The best result on the FIVB World Tour 2019 was a fourth place at the 3-star tournament in Kuala Lumpur .
