Marc Dutreeuw
Marc Dutreeuw (born February 21, 1960 ) is a Belgian chess player .
In 1996 he won the Belgian individual championship in Geel . In the same year he received the title of International Master .
For the Belgian national team he took part in eight chess Olympiads between 1990 and 2006 , his best performance being his performance at the 1992 Olympics in Manila on the second board, where he lost 6 to Julio Ernesto Granda Zúñiga with only one defeat . For example , he won 5 points from 9 games and an Elo performance of 2607 against Elizbar Ubilava . He also played for Belgium between 1989 and 2007 at six European team championships .
In 2001 he took part in the European Club Cup with the Belgian club Koninklijke Antwerpse - OSK . For several years he has been playing on the first board for Borgerhout in the Belgian interclubs league . In Germany he played in the NRW League, the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga West for the SG Heiligenhaus . He also played in the Dutch and French team championships.
Marc Dutreeuw's Elo rating is 2415 (as of June 2020); This would put him in 14th place in the Belgian Elo ranking, but he is listed as inactive because he has not played any Elo-rated chess games since the Belgian team championship 2016/17. His highest rating to date was 2455 in July 1993.
