Marc Hansen (born April 10, 1971 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgish politician of the Democratic Party (DP).

His political career began in 2005 in the municipality of Useldingen , of which he was a member until 2014. At the state level, he was elected to the Luxembourg parliament in 2013 for the Democratic Party in the Northern District. After the resignation of State Secretary André Bauler , Hansen took over this post in 2014 and thus became State Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. In 2015, in addition to supporting the then Minister Maggy Nagel, he became State Secretary in the Ministry of Housing. After Maggy Nagel resigned at the end of 2015, Hansen was promoted to Minister for Housing and Minister Delegate for Universities and Research.

Professionally, Hansen mainly worked as a journalist. He gained his first experience at Radio DNR . From 1995 to 2009 he then worked as a presenter for RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg and RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg . In 2009 he moved to the party headquarters of the DP as a parliamentary group employee. From 2011 until his appointment as State Secretary in 2014, he was director of the publishing house Éditions Lëtzebuerger Land .
