RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg is a radio program in Luxembourgish , which can be received via VHF in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and in the border area of neighboring countries. Two frequencies are used: 88.9 MHz and 92.5 MHz. The program is also distributed nationwide in the cable network, as a live stream on the Internet and via telephone servers. The program is broadcast as RTL Radio Web TV , accompanied by live images from the studio, weather maps, traffic information and webcams, for several hours a day via the television signal from RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and Den 2. RTL . Since August 2009, the program can also be received digitally via the Astra 3B satellite (23.5 ° East) ( DVB-S ).

RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg is commonly seen as a national radio station, with strong audience loyalty and an extensive information portal on the Internet. history
Since 1958, FM radio broadcasts in Luxembourgish have been broadcast, but initially only in the morning, at noon and in the early evening. The full program started on October 19, 1959 on 92.5 MHz from the Junglinster transmitter . In 1970 the VHF transmitter in Hosingen was switched on, which has since replaced the one in Junglinster. In the evening from 2005 to 2016 the program with rock music was continued in the form of “Radio Luxembourg” in English. The moderation was mostly by Benny Brown (hence the name "Benny Brown Show").
