Marcel fragrance

Marcel Duft (born October 13,  1981 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German football player .

career

The fragrance from Frankfurt am Main initially played football in his hometown, he was appointed to Hesse's youth team. From 2000 the wide receiver played for the Rüsselsheim team, later renamed Rhein-Main Razorbacks , in the highest German league, the GFL . He took part with the German national team in the 2003 World Cup and achieved third place with the selection there.

In 2004 and 2005 he was a member of the Braunschweig Lions  . With the Lower Saxony he was German runner-up in 2004 and German champion in 2005. He was named the best player in the final for the German championship after having made a major contribution to the victory over the Hamburg Blue Devils with three touchdowns . His time in Braunschweig was interrupted by a stay in the United States in spring 2005 when he was a player in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL). There fragrance became a member of the team River City Rage, which was looked after by his former Rüsselsheim coach Mike Wyatt.

For the 2006 season he joined the Marburg Mercenaries  . In 2007, Duft won bronze for the second time with the German national team at a world championship. In 2011 he was part of the Wiesbaden Phantoms team and stayed there for a season before ending his career. He worked as a coach for the Hessian youth team, in 2013 he became a member of the coaching staff of the Marburg Mercenaries and from then on was responsible for coordinating the attacking game.
