Marcel Effenberger (born April 17, 1983 in Demmin ) is a former German handball player .

The 2.00 meter tall left back player came through the clubs HSV Peenetal Loitz and SV Fortuna '50 Neubrandenburg in August 2005 to HC Empor Rostock and from November 9, 2005 to the Stralsund AGM .
