Marcel Heuperman

Marcel Heuperman (born October 14, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

biography

Heuperman has been working professionally at the theater since 2007. Frank Castorf discovered him for his first engagement and took him to the Volksbühne Berlin on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz for his production of Emil and the Detectives . Several engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin followed . Heuperman made his directorial debut at the age of 16 and chose “Frau Hegnauer comes”, a play about euthanasia that premiered on June 16, 2011.

From 2012 to 2015 Marcel Heuperman studied drama at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum Salzburg .

In the 2015 novel adaptation of Clemens Meyer's novel As Wir Träumten (film) , he played one of the leading roles.

Heuperman has been part of the permanent ensemble of the Residenztheater (Munich) since the 2015/16 season .
