Uli Jackle

Uli Jäckle (* 1961 in Schramberg ) is a German theater director .

Life

Jäckle has been working as a freelance director since 1993 . He is the founder of the independent theater Aspik in Hildesheim and has realized 120 productions since then. He works at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg , the Stuttgart State Theater , the Freiburg Theater and the Braunschweig State Theater , among others . Jäckle became known for not staging classical pieces, but instead creating his own projects alongside large landscape productions with hundreds of laypeople in Heersum . One project had the philosophical text excursion in the human park by Peter Sloterdijk as part of educational theories on the background. At the same time, Jäckle set up rules that a landscape theater must adhere to. These rules were published in the dramaturgy booklet: Dramaturgische Gesellschaft . Since 2011 Jäckle has been professor for "Art in Action" at the HBK Braunschweig.
