Marcelo Marticorena , full name Marcelo Nicolás Marticorena Garguilo , (born July 7, 1993 in Las Piedras ) is a Uruguayan football player .

According to his club, the 1.87 meter tall goalkeeper has been in the squad of the Uruguayan first division team Juventud , from whose junior team he emerged, since at least the 2013 Clausura . He made his debut in the top Uruguayan league on April 13, 2013 in the 2-0 defeat of the 8th Clausura game day when he came on for the injured Adrián Berbia . By the end of the Clausura in 2013, he played three games in the Primera División . In the 2013/14 season he did not get a train. At the beginning of Apertura 2014 Marticorena was not included in the first team's squad in August 2014, but was used in the junior team. In February 2015 he joined the Oriental de Football club , which played in Uruguay's highest amateur league, and won the league championship of the 2014/15 season with the team. This caused the rise of his team. In the 2015/16 season he was used 19 times in the Segunda División . In August 2016 he moved to first division relegated Villa Teresa , for whom he played nine second division games in the 2016 season.
