Chervona Kamjanka ( Ukrainian Червона Кам'янка ; Russian Червоная Каменка Chervonaja Kamenka ) is a village in the Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine with about 2000 inhabitants. The village, first mentioned in 1774, is the center of the district council of the same name , which still includes the village of Jalyniwka (Ukrainian: Ялинівка ; Russian: Ялыновка / Jalynowka ) ⊙ in the west of Tscherwona Kamjanka .
geography
The village is located in the historical area of the Wild Field in the east of Oleksandrija Rajon . The capital of the oblast, Kropywnyzkyj, is about 110 km southwest of the village. South of the village runs the trunk road M 04 / European road 50 , which after 35 km leads west to the Rajon center Oleksandrija and south-west to Pyatychatky .
