Mychajliwka ( Ukrainian Михайлівка ; Russian Михайловка Michailowka ) is a village in the Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine with about 300 inhabitants.

Geographical location
The village is located in the historical area of the Wild Field in the east of Oleksandrija Rajon . The capital of the oblast, Kropywnyzkyj, is about 110 km southwest of the village. West of the village runs the highway M 04 / Europastraße 50 , the west to Rajonzentrum Oleksandrija and southwest to Pjatychatky leads. The source of the Shovta , a tributary of the Inhulez, lies in the municipality of Mychajliwka .

Mychajliwka is the center of the district council of the same name, to which the villages Pachariwka ⊙ (Ukrainian Пахарівка ) and Tarassiwka ⊙ (Ukrainian Тарасівка ) belong.
The village of Tarasivka, which is 181 m above sea level and has around 200 inhabitants, is named after the fictional character of the old Cossack Taras Bulba from the story of the same name by Nikolai Gogol .
