Kukolivka ( Ukrainian Куколівка ; Russian Куколовка Kukolowka ) is a village in the Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine with about 800 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The village is located in the historical region of the so-called Wild Field in Oleksandrija Raion . The closest cities are the Rajonszentrum Oleksandrija 15 km west of the place and Schowti Vody and Pjatychatky , both 45 km from Kukolivka. The main town of the oblast, Kropywnyzkyj, is about 100 km west of the village. The M 04 trunk road , part of the European route 50 , runs through the village .

Kukolowka is the administrative center and largest village in the district council of the same name . The municipality borders in the north on the municipality of Oleksandrivka and in the south on the municipalities of Shchaslywe and Dobronadiyivka . To district municipality nor the villages are Hulewytschi (Ukrainian: Гулевичі ) and Solowjiwka (Ukrainian: Солов'ївка ).
