Marciano Bruma (born March 7, 1984 in Rotterdam as Marciano van Homoet ) is a Dutch football player who also has Surinamese citizenship.

Career

Bruma began his career in 2004 at Sparta Rotterdam , for which the defender played a total of 28 games. In 2007 he moved to Barnsley FC , for whom he played under the name Marciano van Homoet . At the beginning of the 2009/10 season he moved to the Dutch club Willem II Tilburg . After only one season with Willem II, Bruma moved to the Polish Ekstraklasa to Arka Gdynia . In 2011 he joined the league competitor Lech Posen . There, however, his contract was prematurely terminated in early February 2012. He then moved back to the Netherlands to the third division Rijnsburgse Boys in the top class on Saturday . In the summer of 2014 he joined Excelsior Maassluis , for which he ran for two years. After further positions in Dutch amateur football at XerxesDZB and VV Hillegersberg, he has been playing for VV Zwaluwen in the Hoofd class since summer 2019

Private

His younger brother Jeffrey has been under contract with VfL Wolfsburg since the 2016/2017 season . Before that, he played for Hamburger SV and other European professional clubs.
