Marco Alessandro Punzal Casambre (born December 18, 1998 in Quezon City ) is a Filipino football player .

Career

Marco Casambre learned to play football at the Philippine club UP Fighting Maroons . In 2015 he came to Global Makati , an association based in Manila , the capital of the Philippines , via Ceres-Negros FC . After two years he moved in 2018 to Tagum for local Davao Aguilas . In 2019 Casambre signed a contract with the Thai first division club Chainat Hornbill FC in Chainat . For Chainat, he completed nine first division games. After the end of the season he was relegated to the second division with the club . The Casambre contract was not renewed. In 2020 he went back to his home country and joined the first division club Kaya FC-Iloilo from Iloilo City .

National team

From 2011 to 2015 he played in the junior national teams U13 to U19. Casambre has been playing for the Philippine national soccer team since 2016 . So far it has been used twice.
