Marco D'Amore
Marco D'Amore (born June 12, 1981 in Caserta , Campania , Italy ) is an Italian actor , director and screenwriter . He was best known for his role as Ciro Di Marzio in the first three seasons of the television series Gomorrah , in which he partially acted as a director from the fourth season.
Life
Marco D'Amore was born into a Neapolitan family on June 12, 1981 in Caserta , Campania , Italy and made his theater debut at the age of 15. He finished high school at the age of 18 and enrolled in 2002 at the theater impresario Paolo Grassi for " dramatic arts ", where he received his acting diploma in 2004. During his studies he took part in various theatrical performances.
With the rise of his career, he founded the theater and film production company La Piccola Societa together with screenwriter Francesco Ghiaccio and his brother Giuliano D'Amore in 2007 , through which four theater performances and two short films have been made over the years.
On March 27, 2017, D'Amore got engaged to his lover Daniela Majorana, who is a niece of the physicist Ettore Majorana .
In 2019, he made his debut as a director on the fifth and sixth episodes of the fourth season of Gomorrah , the television series in which he starred in the first three seasons and made his acting breakthrough.
