action

The plot of the film ties in with the events of the last episode of the third season of Gomorrah , in which Gennaro "Genny" Savastano is forced by the once allied Enzo Villa to kill his partner Ciro "the Immortal" Di Marzio. While Ciro's body sinks into the dark waters of the Gulf of Naples , flashbacks shed light on Ciro's past: the young Ciro lost his parents in an earthquake in Irpinia in 1980, grew up in an orphanage and "got on the wrong track on the streets of Naples. " ".

The second timeline shows how Ciro, after surviving the attack on his life, is doing new business in Latvia with his childhood mentor Bruno, which leads him into conflict with a local boss of the Russian mafia .
