Marco Manske (born June 29, 1983 in Essen ) is a former German soccer player who ended his career in 2013. He mainly played on the left wing in attacking midfield.

Career

Born in Essen, he played in his youth from U-8 to U-16 at Rot-Weiss Essen and then switched to city rivals ETB Schwarz-Weiß for 3 years . In 2001 he moved as a youth national player (U17) from ETB black and white back to city rivals Rot-Weiss Essen. At "RWE" he was also still active in the youth team, but was appointed to the first team, Regionalliga Nord, for the 2001/02 season. He came to his first regional league assignment at the age of 19 on September 29, 2002. Two more games followed.

In 2003 he moved to MSV Duisburg , where he played in the U-21 team. With his team he rose to the Oberliga Nordrhein in 2004 and was also part of the professional team in the following season. The subsequent time at Karlsruher SC was similar , where he was also appointed as a regular player in the U-23 team ( Regionalliga Süd ) after a year in the professional squad ( second division ) and was in the squad in the 2006/07 promotion season .

After the end of the season he left the KSC and joined the southern regional division SV Wacker Burghausen in early 2008 . With the Burghausenern he reached the qualification for the newly created 3rd division. He left the club after six months and signed a contract with SV Sandhausen , a league competitor in the 3rd division. With the Palatinate, who played for the first time in professional football, he finished in eighth place. This year he had his first serious injury and had to sit out for more than six months due to a metatarsal fracture.

After that year he went back to his hometown Essen. This was followed by positions at SG Wattenscheid 09 , Rot-Weiss Essen, 1. FC Wülfrath , VfB Speldorf and Schwarz-Weiß Essen in the NRW League and Oberliga Niederrhein .

In 2013, he started a real estate agency and ended his career as a footballer.
