Marco Oberst (born March 8, 1996 in Bürmoos ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Oberst began his career at SV Bürmoos . In 2007 he switched to the youth team of FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he would later play in the academy. For the 2013/14 season he moved to the fourth-rate amateurs of SV Grödig . In August 2013 he made his debut in the Salzburg League when he was in the starting line-up against SV Kuchl on the first day of that season . In the same month he scored his first goal in the fourth-highest division in a 2-0 win against SV Anthering .

In November 2013 he was against FK Austria Wien for the first time in the professional squad of Grödig. He made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga in December 2013 when he started against SV Ried on matchday 19 of the 2013/14 season . However, this should remain his only appearance in the Bundesliga for Grödig. At the end of the season he finished third in the Bundesliga with the club. For the amateurs he made 25 appearances in the Salzburg league that season, in which he scored three goals. With Grödig II he finished the season as runner-up, three points missing from promotion.

In the 2014/15 season he also played 25 games for the amateurs von Grödig and scored two goals. As in the previous season, the season ended as runner-up, but this time 23 points were missing from the promotion. After two seasons with Grödig, he moved to the regional league promoted USK Anif for the 2015/16 season . Colonel played his first game in the Regionalliga in July 2015 against USC Eugendorf . In October 2015, he scored his first goal in the third-highest division in a 3-1 win against FC Kufstein .

In his first season at Anif, he came to 27 regional league appearances in which he scored two goals. With the newcomer he was able to become runner-up that season, but the deficit on master WSG Wattens was 18 points. In the following season 2016/17 he was champion of the Regionalliga West with Anif, in that season Oberst came to 21 missions in which he scored five goals. However, Anif had not made a license application and thus did not rise to the second division . In the 2017/18 season he was able to become champions a second time in a row with the club, but as in the previous season, an application for admission was waived. During that season, Oberst played in 17 regional league games and scored two goals.

For the 2019/20 season he changes to the Salzburg AK 1914 .
