Marco Voge (born December 13, 1979 in Balve ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1996, Voge initially trained as a computer scientist. He obtained his technical college entrance qualification in 1999 and then began studying political science at the University of Duisburg-Essen , which he completed with an examination as a social scientist. In the following years he worked as an employee at the regional association of the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia , at the University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management and at the medium-sized and business association of the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia. He was also the office manager of the Iserlohn CDU member of the state parliament, Thorsten Schick .

Marco Voge is married and has two daughters.

Voge joined the CDU in 1998. He is the press spokesman for the CDU district association Märkischer Kreis and the CDU district association South Westphalia. Since 2014 he has been a member of the city council of Balve and the district council of the Märkisches Kreis .

In the state elections in 2017 , Voge was elected as a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. He won the direct mandate in constituency 122 (Märkischer Kreis II) with 43.2% of the first votes . In the state parliament he is a member of the budget and finance committee as well as the sports committee.
