Christian Untrieser (* 5. May 1982 in Wuppertal ) is a German lawyer and politician of the CDU . He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2001 Untrieser studied law at the universities of Bochum , Münster and Poitiers from 2002 to 2008 . During his studies, which he completed with the first state examination, he joined the Catholic student association KDStV Alemannia Greifswald and Münster in 2003 . After completing his legal internship in Münster, Düsseldorf, Brussels and Cape Town, he passed the second state examination in 2010. He then worked in law firms in Düsseldorf and Berlin until 2013 . From 2013 to 2017 he worked as a speaker in a local authority association in Cologne. 2016 he was awarded the dissertation topic , the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators in the European administrative composite for doctor of law doctorate .

Untrieser has been a member of the CDU since 2010. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he was elected in constituency 37 (Mettmann II) as a direct candidate (39.0% of the first votes ) in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In the state parliament he is a member of the committee for the environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection, the committee for economy, energy and state planning and the study commission " Digital transformation of the world of work in North Rhine-Westphalia".
