Marco Zaffarano

Marco Zaffarano (* 16th August 1970 in Stuttgart ) is a German Techno / Trance - DJ , music producer and label owner .

Zaffarano first came into contact with Acid House in 1987 and was significantly influenced by it. From 1990 he was resident DJ in the club "Oz" in Stuttgart. At the same time he started working on his own productions. In 1992 he met Sven Väth at a party in "Oz" . This was followed by a whole series of publications on Väth's Harthouse record label , which were created in collaboration with Jürgen Kreschel (alias Pascal Device). In 1993 Zaffarano resigned due to the strong increase in booking inquiries in "Oz" and began to appear on an international level. From mid-1995 he published his own productions on the Berlin label MFS , on which his first album “He was once a beautiful woman” was released in 1996 . The second album was released in 1998, along with a collection of his most successful Harthouse productions from 1992 to 1995. In 1999, Zaffarano reunited with his former production partner Jürgen Kreschel. In 2000 he switched to Mauro Picotto's label BXR .

Since 2002 Zaffarano has had its own label called Anima Records .
