Marco d'Agrate (around 1504 , † around 1574 in Milan ) was an Italian sculptor from the Cinquecento .

D'Agrate came from a Lombard family of sculptors and appeared for the first time as the artist of the tomb of Sforzino Sforza, a joint project with his brother Gianfrancesco for the Basilica of Santa Maria della Steccata in Parma . D'Agrate is documented for the first time in the service of the Milan Cathedral in 1522 . From 1541 to 1571 he was involved in the work on the facade of the Certosa di Pavia monastery north of Pavia . In 1547, d'Agrate was working on figures for the sarcophagi in the Milanese church of San Nazaro in Brolo . Between 1556 and 1558 he worked on the tomb of Giovanni del Contes in the Basilica di San Lorenzo di Milano . One of the most famous works by d'Agrate is the statue of St. Bartholomew from 1562 in the Milan Cathedral.
