With her he played in the opening act for artists such as 98 Degrees , Jessica Simpson , Mandy Moore , Pink , Bon Jovi and Destiny's Child .
It was here that the music producer Tommy Quon discovered him . With him, Hernández recorded his debut album C About Me , which was released in October 2005. The first single If You Were Mine developed into an international hit.
