Marcus Chong

Marcus Chong (born July 8, 1967 in Seattle , Washington; actually Marcus Wyatt ) is an American actor. He was best known for his role as Tank in the science fiction film Matrix .

Life

Marcus Chong's father, Martin Wyatt, was a local newscaster in the San Francisco Bay Area. Chong worked on Broadway in the stand-up tragedy with Jack Coleman . In the early 1990s, he starred as Miguel Mendez in the television series The Law of the Road . He later appeared in the action series Vanishing Son as Fu Qua Johnson. He also played the role of African-American / Chinese in season three on the Law & Order Special Victims Unit television series . In 1995 he played the role of Huey P. Newton in the movie Panther . In 1999, Chong played the tank , the operator in the movie Matrix . In 2008 he finished his first novel entitled "The Arch" based on his experiences with the film Matrix and with one of its heroes, Alexandre Dumas.
