Marcus Lantz (born October 23, 1975 in Helsingborg ) is a Swedish football player and coach who played for Hansa Rostock for five years . He was also under contract with various Swedish, Danish and Italian clubs.

Lantz started playing soccer at Ifö / Bromölla IF . At the age of 18 he moved to the Swedish first division club Helsingborgs IF . In 1999 he went to Torino Calcio in the Italian Serie A . However, since he was unable to assert himself there, he left the Italians after a few months and signed with Hansa Rostock in December 1999. For the Ostseestädter, he played 164 games in the Bundesliga until relegation in 2005 , scoring six goals.

In 2005 Michael Laudrup brought the free transfer Lantz to Denmark to Brøndby IF . Due to an injury in his sophomore year at the club, he was suspended for a long time. At the end of the transfer period in the summer of 2007, he returned to Sweden to Helsingborgs IF in the Allsvenskan.

For the Swedish national football team he made his debut against the USA in 1998 , but only made six appearances for his home country.

For the 2013 season, Lantz moved to Örgryte IS as coach of the U21 youth team .
