Marcus Strahl
Marcus Strahl (* 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor , theater director and artistic director .
Life
Marcus Strahl was born as the son of the actor couple Waltraut Haas and Erwin Strahl . After graduating from the Sacré Coeur Pressbaum , he began to study theater studies and journalism at the University of Vienna . He received acting lessons from his father and Hans Jaray , and singing lessons from Richard Hall and Sascha Wienhausen. From 1989 he was engaged at the Landestheater Niederösterreich , since 1993 he has worked as a freelance actor and director, for example staging at the Raimundspiele Gutenstein . Since 2005 he has been director of the Wachaufestspiele in Weißenkirchen as the successor to Peter Janisch .
