Maren-Alena Tetzlaff (born August 3, 1988 in Uelzen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Tetzlaff moved from VfL Lüneburg to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2006 . After two years with a total of 35 appearances, she did not get beyond the status of a supplementary player in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons , in the 2011/12 season she only made two short appearances in the Bundesliga. After she had established herself again as a regular player in the 2011/12 season towards the end of the first half of the season , she extended her contract in Wolfsburg prematurely to summer 2013 in February 2012. On May 23, 2012, she suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in her left knee during training and a meniscus injury , after which she could not play competitive games for about a year. In the 2015/16 season, Tetzlaff only played in the second team of VfL and was adopted by the club at the end of the season.
