Margareta Hunck-Jastram

Margareta Hunck-Jastram (born November 30, 1913 in Altona ; † March 2, 1998 in Hamburg ) was a CDU politician and member of the Hamburg parliament .

family

The pastor’s daughter Margareta Jastram came from a long-established Hamburg family that has been documented in chronicles since the 17th century. Her first marriage was to a pastor. The couple had three children, including the future politician Birgit Schnieber-Jastram . In 1968 Margareta Jastram married Heinrich Hunck (CDU), MP, and took the surname Hunck-Jastram.

In 1961 she was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament via the list of the CDU district association Hamburg-Mitte . Jastram was a member of the school, social and submission committees. She described the enforcement of the extension of the statute of limitations for Nazi crimes as a particular success in her political work: Injustice of this dimension can and must never become statute-barred , Jastram is quoted as saying.

After retiring from citizenship in 1970, she became managing director of the State Political Society and was a member of the Hamburg-Mitte district assembly until 1993 . In addition, she was a member of the Association of Former Members of the Hamburg Citizenship .

Margareta Hunck-Jastram was buried in the Diebsteich cemetery in Hamburg .
