Margarethe Herzog (born Margarethe Stender on February 18, 1947 in Münster ) is a former German volleyball player and trainer.
Career
Margarethe Herzog played volleyball at USC Münster in the 1960s and 1970s . Here she won the German Cup four times in a row from 1973 to 1976 and won the German championship in 1974 and 1977 . In 1972 she took part with the German national volleyball team at the Olympic Games in Munich , where she finished eighth. In 1980 and 1981 she was the coach of the USC Münster's Bundesliga women for the German championship.

Margarethe Herzog lives with her husband Karl in Altenberge near Münster .
