Margertshausen is a church village and district of the municipality Gessertshausen in the Swabian district of Augsburg in Bavaria , Germany .

Margertshausen lies in the perennials . It was an independent municipality and was incorporated into the municipality of Gessertshausen on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

The Catholic branch church Sankt Georg in Margertshausen is a curate of the parish of Sankt Martin in Döpshofen .
