Margherita Beloch Piazzolla (* July 12, 1879 in Frascati as Margherita Beloch, † 1976 in Rome ) was an Italian mathematician who dealt with algebraic geometry, algebraic topology and photogrammetry .

She was a daughter of the ancient historian Karl Julius Beloch and the American Bella Bailey. Margherita Beloch studied mathematics at La Sapienza University with the Laurea degree in 1908 (Sulle trasformazioni birazionali nello spazio), taught at a high school in Rome and was assistant to Guido Castelnuovo at the university. From 1919 she was at the University of Pavia and from 1920 assistant to Michele De Franchis at the University of Palermo , where she completed her habilitation in 1924. In 1927, after a competition, she received the chair of geometry at the University of Ferrara , where she stayed until her retirement in 1955.

She dealt in particular with aerial photogrammetry, X-ray photogrammetry and topographical applications of photogrammetry.
