Marguerite Chapman

Marguerite Chapman (born March 9, 1918 in Chatham , New York , † August 31, 1999 in Burbank , California ) was an American film actress .

The former operator was discovered by the film producer Howard Hughes during a casting and then worked as an actress from 1940. During that decade she had various leading roles in western or war films. From the 1950s, she was mostly present in supporting roles in television series. She played Miss Morris in The 7th Year Itch (1955) .

In 1960 she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . By 1977 she worked on a total of 76 productions.
