Magno Damasceno Santos da Cruz (born May 20, 1988 in Salvador ), also known as Magno Cruz , is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Magno Cruz learned to play football in the youth teams of EC Vitória , EC Bahia , Joinville EC , Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . He signed his first contract in 2009 in Pelotas with Gremio Esportivo Brasil . After three months he moved to CR Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro in the same year . With the club he won the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol - Série B in 2009 . From the beginning of 2011 to May 2012 he was loaned to the EC Bahia in Salvador . After the loan ended, he was firmly signed by Bahia. With Bahia he became champion of Campeonato Baiano . From August 2012 to November 2012 he was loaned to Ceará SC . CA Bragantino loaned it from February to December 2013. He was then firmly committed by the club from Bragança Paulista . In 2015 he left Brazil and went to Tunisia , where he joined Espérance Tunis . The club from Tunis played in the country's first division, the Championnat de Tunisie . At the end of July 2015 he went to Japan . Here Cerezo Osaka signed him. The club from Osaka played in the second division, the J2 League . At the end of January 2016 he returned to his homeland. Atlético Goianiense from Goiânia signed him until the end of 2016. With Atlético he became champion of the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol - Série B. In 2017 he was drawn back to Asia . The South Korean club Jeju United signed him for two years. In the first year he was runner-up with the club in the K League 1 . After 102 games and 29 goals, he left the club at the end of 2019 and moved to Qatar . Here he joined Umm-Salal SC . The club from Umm Salal plays in the country's highest league, the Qatar Stars League .
