The pilgrimage church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Kaubitz , a district of the Polish municipality of Ząbkowice Śląskie in the powiat Ząbkowicki in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship , was founded from 1495 to 1501 by the Wroclaw Canon Christoph von Reibnitz and his brother Dipprand on the site of a previous building from the middle of the 15th century. On the initiative of Canon Anton Zinneburg, the church was rebuilt and expanded in the Baroque style from 1730 to 1736 .

The baroque furnishings with a main altar , six side altars and a pulpit were created in the second half of the 18th century. The paintings Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and Saint Barbara were created by the Bavarian painter Felix Anton Scheffler .
