Marié Christina Digby (born April 16, 1983 in New York ) is an American singer and songwriter with Irish-Japanese roots. She became known with her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's number one hit " Umbrella ", which she published on the video platform YouTube .

biography

Marié Digby is the oldest of three daughters. She started writing her own songs in high school. After graduating from high school and a year of early drop out of college, she only focused on music. In 2004 she won the Pantene Pro-Voice Music Competition with her autobiographical song "Miss Invisible".

She is currently under contract with Hollywood Records . The first studio album Unfold was released in the US on April 8, 2008.
