Kiamba is a municipality in the Sarangani Province of the Philippines .
geography
The municipality of Kiamba borders Maitum to the west, Maasim to the east, and South Cotabato to the north . In the south lies the Celebessee . The Daguma Mountains rise inland .
The Philippine tarsier ( Tarsius syrichta ) lives in the rainforests and mountain areas of Kiamba .

Kiamba is politically divided into 19 barangays .

population
The majority of the residents speak Cebuano , although the early settlers were of Ilocano origin . One of the indigenous peoples who live in the mountains of Kiamba are the T'boli .
economy
The economy of Kiamba is largely based on agriculture, extensive rice fields surround the main town. Aquacultures are the second most important source of income, especially milk fish cultures and shrimp ( called sugpo or lukon by the locals ) for export. In the coastal towns, sea fishing is the main source of income.
